I often turn to the Heart Meditation by Deepak Chopra whenever I’m struggling emotionally, particularly with feelings of failure, anger, loneliness, and betrayal. While that may be a vast range of emotions; this particular meditation helps with them all, simply because it targets the heart — the source of the pain. This meditation is part of the Soul of Healing Meditations compilation.

I grew up to this song by the Crash Test Dummies and always loved it because it focused on being different and acceptance (or lack of acceptance) of the people who stood out in the crowd. Inside I always knew I was different and this song helped me through a lot of tough times growing up — helped me realize that I wasn’t alone.
