A recent independent study was conducted to answer the mysterious question of whether Google can see and crawl content embedded within an iFrame on a webpage. The study revealed that a link located within the iFrame was in fact discovered and indexed by Google. While still a clunky way of designing a site, iFrames might not be as bad for SEO as originally thought.
